We are a small but friendly Club who take pride in valuing all members and their contribution to the Club.  We have members who have been with the Club from its outset as well as those who have recently joined.  The age profile of the Club is changing and we are pleased that the average age of members is going down rather than heading up.  A sure sign that we are offering a good variety of fishing but also companionship and friendship.

We have approx 1.3 miles of single and double bank fishing based in and slightly upstream of the Nidd Gorge.  Our members have exclusive access to a well made road that enables us to tackle up within 40 metres of the river in a number of places.

On joining the Club we organise a 'Walk the Beat' session where one of the established members will make sure new comers are shown the various sections of the river.  During this session we also offer advice and share our knowledge and tactics used so new members have the best change of gaining success as soon as possible.

Finally we would also like to make visitors aware of the Youth Programme the Club is running; we run a number and variety of events to encourage juniors into the wonderful world of Fly Fishing.  One of our Committee heads up this programme and should you want further information about how your child, boy or girl, can become involved please initially make and enquiry via the Get in Touch Form at the bottom of this page.
